Rohann Asfaw (Richard Montgomery, Jr.)
The rising junior at Richard Montgomery, Rohann Asfaw was an All-State performer as a sophomore in all three seasons in cross country (8th place), indoor (5th place 3200m), and outdoor track (6th place 3200m). Asfaw won two major invitationals last fall including the sophomore race at the DCXC Invite (pictured above) along with the Frank Keyser Invite. He also dipped just under 16 minutes for his 5K PR at the Montgomery Invite with a third place finish. During the track season, Asfaw's best race may have been throwing down a 9:23 PR in the 3200 in a runner-up showing at the Montgomery County Outdoor Championships.
