Boys 5000m Run

The Boys 5000m Run was led by Bowie sophomore Jacob Bayes. Bayes finished first with a time of 18:09.05, which put him ahead of the second-place winner by 20 seconds. Eleanor Roosevelt senior Benno Wien finished second with a time of 18:31.24. The third-place finisher was DuVal junior Joshua Mbuashu-Ndip with a time of 18:38.75, which made him the third and final guy to finish in under 19 minutes. 

Girls 5000m Run 

For the Girls 5000m Run, Eleanor Roosevelt senior Rebekah Pase was victorious with a first-place finish. Pase finished with a time of 22:32.42. A few seconds behind was Suitland senior Kiara Lee with a time of 22:41.36. Pase and Lee were the only two girls to finish in under 23 minutes.
