  • Maryvale Prep's Cameron Hinton, one of the faster freshmen girls this past year nationally in the 400, qualified for the finals for the 15-16 year old girls in the prelims with a 56.46 clocking in the prelims as the 7th fastest qualifier.
  • Despite not getting much work in during the high school season, Paul Johnson of Glen Burnie earned a bronze medal in the 17-18 year old boys javelin competition with a throw of 174'5".
