The boy's 3A race looks to be between two schools, Thomas Johnson, and Digital Harbor. TJ has a 4.5-point lead in the projected results, 60.5 over Digital Harbors 56. 

Thomas Johnson will be led by sprinter Kalani Pu'uloa who has the top seed in the 200 meters at 21.69. Ryan Kengni has high jumped 6-04 which is tied for first. James Partlow has also shown he is one of the top distance runners in the state this year. He will be the second-ranked 3200m runner with a 9:29 personal est. Their best event however is the Pole Vault. Gilberto Ramos, Luke Freimanis, and Dillen Owusu are seeded 2-4-5 in the event and have the possibility to score over 15 points in just this event. 

Digital Harbor will look to sprinters Jawon Blue and Alpha Balde to lead the way. Balde is seeded 4th in the 400 at 49.03. Blue is the 3rd seed in the 100 at 10.76 and the 6th seed in the 200 at 21.98. Jaylin Blackwell will try to take home the gold medal in the triple jump as he leads all others with a jump of 45-3.5. Digital Harbor also has very strong sprint relays and will look to place high in all 3 of those races. 

Other Athletes to Watch:

Aaron Abedin (Mt. Hebron) - Currently has the top 400m time at 48.75 and the second bet 200 time at 21.78.

Colin Abrams (Magruder) - Abrams owns the top 800 time in 3A at 1:52 and has run 4:19  for 1600, which ranks him 3rd. 

Antonio Camacho-Bucks (Centennial) - Camacho-Bucks will try to take home 3 gold medals as he comes in with the top seed in the 3200 (8:58), 1600 (4:13), and second-best seed in the 800 (1:53)

Christian Do (Howard) - Do was runner-up in the 55m Hurdles Indoors. He will try to improve by 1 place as he has the top 110m time at 14.31 seconds. He is also the 3rd seed in the 300m Hurdles at 39.00

Grant Lohr (Oakdale) - Lohr owns the top marks in both the shot (54-10.5) and Discus (159-6) this season. 

Destin Hill (Reservoir) - Hill is the top seed in the Long jump at 22-8.75
